Catherine Escobar
Head Teacher

Hello!!! My name is Catherine Escobar.I’ve been a Head Teacher at LULAC Head Start since August, 2013.

Marian Farrah
Teacher

I have an international background. My family comes from Trinidad, Tobago and Somalia. In addition, I lived in Canada and the U.K. I am happily married, have six wonderful stepchildren and two amazing granddaughters. Embracing diversity, practicing cultural competence, and supporting individual needs are important values to me. These values have guided my career which includes working on infant mortality reduction, children's mental health, early intervention services, care coordination for children who have a disability and facilitation of school support teams to increase students' success. My teaching extends to the water where I have taught aquatics to all ages. Being a School Readiness Teacher is the fulfillment of a dream to be there for and with children as they learn and develop at one of the most critical times in their lives.
