Mary Bell

"Greetings! My name is Mary Bell! I began my journey here at Lulac in 2016. I graduated from Gateway Community College and Southern Connecticut State University. I am currently a Head Teacher in an Infant and Toddler classroom. Early Childhood Education is one of my degrees. I have obtained several credentials in the Education field and have worked within NAEYC accredited programs and various grade levels up to third grade. I love working with the Infants and Toddlers age group! I also get to do the same outside of work because I also have a toddler! I am so grateful to be able to understand their temperaments, and what it takes to calm them down or get each of them excited.

Childhood is precious and the children are so innocent and filled with such surprise and wonder about the newness of the world around them. I know up to preschool, age five and below, are the concrete years. Much of what they learn during these ages are carried with them for the rest of their lives. I bring my best efforts to work to be a positive guidance and support. I have had the pleasure of teaching and interacting with children overseas in Asia and Europe! I LOVE to travel and experience different cultures around the world. The perspective through childrens' eyes is very educational and vital. (That is partially how I create my lesson plans). 😊

One of my favorite pastimes is to sit down at the children's eye level, look them in their eyes and converse with them. They have so much to say and I enjoy it. I often learn from them. It is an honor to be amongst children, in hopes to help them make a change and be a part of healing the world through love. ❤️"

Kim Dawkins

Hello! My name is Kim Dawkins and I am a Teacher in Room F. I have been working with infants and toddlers for 30 years. I have been with LULAC for six of those years. I enjoy working with children and watching them reach different milestones. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching tv shows together.
