Research shows parent involvement supports a child’s success in school. You are your child’s first teacher. The Early Head Start, Head Start or the School Readiness Program may be your child’s first school experience and we invite you to continue supporting your child’s learning in the following ways:
- Volunteer
- Parent Workshops
- Policy Council
- Classroom Committee
Student Enrollment Criteria:
- Children must be a Resident of New Haven (or East Haven for LULAC at Overbrook)
- Children must meet the income guidelines based on the program options (i.e., Early Head Start, Head Start, School Readiness or Private Childcare)
- Children must be at least 2 years and 9 months at enrollment for the preschool program
